Meet our partners in the gospel.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Melvin & Alejandra Romero

Siguatepeque, Honduras
For over 20 years we have partnered with Pastor Melvin and the Iglesia Bautista Emanuel Church. The main purpose of their ministry is to make disciples and equip and prepare those disciples so that they can become pastors of churches. Melvin believes that the expository preaching of the Word of God in the local church is God’s chosen instrument for the proliferation of the gospel to the ends of the earth. He has been encouraged to see Emmanuel Baptist grow in loving one another and serving the community.  Melvin and his wife, Alejandra, are blessed with four children.

Shannon & Danielle Hurley

Kubamitwe, Uganda
Sufficiency of Scripture (SOS) Ministries exists to strengthen lives and communities through Christ, and we believe that the most enduring avenue for personal and collective strength comes through bringing Scripture to life in Christ's church. Our commitment is establishing and shoring up the spiritual and physical walls of His church throughout East Africa. The heart of our ministry's work lies in the Ugandan community of Kubamitwe, where God is changing and shaping lives at every turn.

Ryan & Stacey Fischer

Sofia, Bulgaria
Stacey grew up with her family at Wellington and since has a beautiful family of her own. Ryan and Stacey, along with their children, serve in Sofia, Bulgaria through a Marketplace ministry, Bible studies, community library, and a new church plant called Life Fellowship. It is amazing to watch how the Lord continues to bless this ministry as people are responding to the truth of God's Word.

Justin & Laura

Central Asia
Justin and Laura, are members of Wellington Church, who have been serving in Central Asia for over 10 years. They serve as part of the CRU ministry reaching hundreds of college students each year throughout the country. They have also established a house church that Justin co-pastors. In a culture that is very difficult for Christianity, they are faithful servants who pour into people's lives with the gospel, encourage local pastors and churches, and host countless college students in their home.

Zack Thurman

Fort Collins, Colorado
Zack is the pastor at a recent church plant called Overland Church. We exist to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ in order to make disciples who serve and multiply in their community and spread the gospel to the nations. Our vision at Overland Church is to reach the next generation, specifically on the campus of Colorado State. As we reach college students and disciple them, our vision is to send them out to plant other churches. Multiplication at Overland Church entails making disciples and planting churches.
