At Wellington Church our activities are not just designed for the student’s enjoyment, but we hope through these activities we will grow closer to the Lord and to one another. Each activity will have a particular focus and we hope the students will leave each activity thinking about God and His work in their life. |
Beginning June 6 we will begin a Wednesday evening meeting from 7:00-8:30 at the church with the specific focus of knowing the gospel and being able to present the gospel accurately to others. The gospel is the most important message in all of history because it teaches the only way a man/woman can have a relationship with God through Christ. Therefore, it is essential for the students to know what they believe, why they believe it, and be able to present it accurately to their friends. That is essential because the only two things going out of this world are the souls of men and the Word of God. Therefore, there is nothing more essential than believing the gospel and being able to share it with others. |
| Beginning June 8, I want to offer a Friday morning time for every male student to get together for breakfast and a time of mutual encouragement to hold each other accountable through the summer. We will meet at Bob Evans, close to the church, from 8:30 to 10:00. If any student needs a ride I would be happy to pick them up and take them home. The only Fridays I will not be able to meet are June 29 and July 6. |
