Bible Series: “Genesis”

Man’s compromising ways have been devastating for the church as well as individual Christians.   The foundation for everything we are to believe and trust is found in the Book of Genesis.  If we wobble to any degree regarding these truths, we undermine the foundation of our faith.  This study will take you through the 50 chapters of Genesis in just 13 weeks and the lessons will be enlightening and invaluable.   Your Bible will be the only text necessary.  Even those who took this course previously will find a repeat of these scriptures refreshing and beneficial.

 Bible Series: “Romans”

Naturalism has replaced Christianity as the primary religion of the Western world and many Christians, who claim to believe the Bible, have allowed man’s modern theories to replace the truth of what the Lord has recorded for us in His word, particularly the vital truths taught in the book of Romans.  The foundation for the Christian faith is clearly described in Romans and these truths are foundational for our faith.  This study will take you through the 16 chapters of Romans in just 13 weeks.  Your Bible will be the only text necessary for this course.

 Bible Series: “Judges”

The Book of Judges reveals God’s power and covenant mercy as He delivers His people from the consequences of their failures.  In seven periods of sin to salvation, the Lord compassionately delivers those who are experiencing great suffering due to compromises they made in their lives.  His power to faithfully rescue shines against the dark backdrop of bizarre twists and turns that are the result of man’s sinful behavior.   You will learn valuable life lessons from Othniel, Ehud, Deborah, Gideon, Abimelech, and Samson. Your Bible will be the only text necessary.

 Bible Series: “James”

The book of James is a compelling study on wise living with a practical emphasis on godly behavior rather than simply theoretical knowledge.  The crucial relationship between a Christian’s faith and his works of obedience has often been misunderstand and improperly applied, so special attention will be given to properly reconciling the faith that initiates one’s Christian life (regeneration) and the works (sanctification) that reveal whether a new birth in Christ actually occurred.

 Bible Series: “Colossians”

Learn what God’s word has to say about the supremacy of Christ over His creation and His body, the church. Since Christ is sufficient for every area of our life and it is by His power that Christians are risen with Him to new life the application of these biblical truths found within Colossians will impact each of our lives, our church, our families, and our witness at work for His glory.  You are encouraged to read through Colossians each day and record your observations.  The only supplemental text to the scriptures will be John MacArthur’s commentary on Colossians available in the Resource Center.

Bible Series: “2nd Peter ”

Second Peter is an epistle that is as relevant today as when it was first written.  It deals with critical matters of the Christian faith, death, prophecy, the dangers associated with false doctrines, and the second coming of Christ.  You will benefit from each lesson even if you have to miss a couple weeks due to vacation.
The last four weeks of the summer schedule will be devoted to the book of Philippians which will deal with our spiritual stability.
