What Should I Wear?
Sunday is the day when the body of Christ comes together for the corporate worship of the Lord, so we encourage His people to dress in a way that honors and respects Him. The dress of most falls between “Sunday best” and business casual, but no one is judged by what they wear.
How many people attend Wellington Church?
Wellington has never put an emphasis on how many physically attend services each week, but has focused more on the spiritual growth of those who do attend. There are between 250-300 families actively involved in the Wellington ministry and between 300-400 are in worship and/or service most Sundays.
How can I get further involved?
Start by visiting the Welcome Center, where helpful people can assist you finding the ministries that best fit who you are and where you are spiritually. Fellowship groups and service ministries are good places to start for meeting people.
How do I become a Member?
Membership begins by talking with one of our pastors or leaders, letting them know of your interest. They will begin by answering any questions you may have. They will also ask questions about your testimony; who Christ is; what He accomplished at the cross; when you became regenerate; etc. They will also review what the scripture says is significant about being a member of the body of Christ. If you are a born again believer who agrees with the fundamental doctrines of the church, who recognizes Christ as the literal Head of the church; and who acknowledges the scriptures to be final source of authority in all matters of faith and life, then you will be welcomed before the congregation at the end of a worship service to fulfill your calling in Christ's church at Wellington, using the gifts the Lord has given you for His glory.
How can I get baptized?
Baptism is for those who can articulate, and whose lives demonstrate, saving faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. This process begins by talking with one of our pastors or leaders.
