Wellington is a non-denominational, Christ-centered Church committed to teaching and preaching God's word expositionally that all men might come to know and enjoy His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Wellington Church conducted its first worship service in September, 1998 when 31 families met in the gym of Rosa Parks Elementary School in order to establish a nondenominational fellowship with an emphasis on teaching the fundamental truths of scripture. This core group was discipled in God’s word over the next four years through courses such as: 1) The Reliability of Scripture; 2) An Overview of the Bible (Genesis to Revelation); 3) The Attributes of God; and 4) The Fundamentals of the Faith. These initial courses in the study of God’s word continue to serve as the foundation for sound doctrine, spiritual leadership, and active service within the Wellington membership. [continue...]
